Macrobiotic Diet

Currently i'm reading the Art of Peace by Morihei Ueshiba the founder of Akido. Interestingly he vehemently advocates the macrobiotic diet. Which is a sort of veggie/eastern and western/Japensish diet although you can have meat and fish - the focus is on natural/raw founds and grains - lighter food to increase chi energy. Its extremely difficult and require a regime of strong discipline. Something I used to have but due to several lifestyle shifts I haven't not been able to manage anything like it in the past 2 years. As fate would have it I am moving again literally and metaphysically. For the next 5 months it looks like I will be preparing dinner for the house, so I know have dietary control. The Challenge I face living in Singapore is the extreme variety of amazing fast food this place offers is mind blowing, so temptation will be a major road block. However it is also a blessing because many macrobiotic recipes reference Chinese and local(South East Asian ) medicinal herbs and food bases. I have noticed I lot of minor illness have been ravaging me lately - head aches, stomach aches - diarrhea and bloatedness/heart burn - mood swings. I have a causal exercise regime which definitely equivalent to 2 - 3 workouts a week I never drink anymore either, but my diet whilst not to bad could use a tune up. Interestingly some evidence has been produce that many Asian men despite being smokers were able to avoid lung cancer and live into their 70 - 80s due to the macrobiotic diet, not that I smoke but it highlights what eating the right food really can do.

The end result of this exercise is hopefully I can whip up some tasty Alchemical foods to enhance the energy flow of my body. :D

The loop.

A time mantra spell : -

Back here.

Where I have not been for a long time, time is something I have NOW because I am on holidays. I never have TIME when I want it to be focused on something THEN. I know I have time NOW but SOON I will not have TIME.

And thus the problem is inherit that my time is being owned. So the war at PRESENT is to defend TIME. So one day my TIME will come, and FUTURE generations will know about these TIMES and my role in them.

Repeat.

across the region

said the Coyote to Ux, how ya going?
been reading a very few of the books in the library you left in my care. let me know if you want anything sent over. let me know if you want me to set up another library or tower of high sorcery over here for you... ;)

so what am i reading?

I keep getting back to my pagan traditions... Starhawk and working with Lyndall in workshops etc... around paganism and shamanism. I have look at a few things on body language and leadership and I read one of my own Robert Kiyosaki books. All necessary in doing 3rd and 4th grade work... and those grades above.

I discussed some 3rd gear stuff with my therapist this morning in regard to me mapping out the territory for my work. I seem to be planning some big social shifts with my work through events I intend to put on. Music is a great vehicle and as my brother used to say, a great healer.

I might go to confest this year. I reckon that is a good idea.

What else Ux? I will email you soon. Hopefully Nur finds this and alerts you to it. I hope you are both well.

You are going to do some course online? Sounds good. I am a believer that if we get out of bed in the morning then we are active and working on something in life and in ourselves. 1st gear kicks into motion or we are inert. Caught in the middle of a birthing process. Chapel Perilous? We can go in and out as we please for as many sermons as we like.

Finances are a big part of my current work. I dont believe that the rich have raped the world. I believe that many of the rich have. There is reason to being here though and it is not to blame those who have been doing what I should have. No room for envy or hatred.

None for greed either for that matter.

Footy has started again and I have a tribe of sorts. Expanding my power in 2nd grade. My 2nd gear is very strong and always has been a strong suit for me.

Gonna email you soon. You said you had not started TechGnosis yet... I had a flick through that Queztlcoatl titled one that you read and it looked fucken wicked. I am working for a band at present where the founders are into ahuayasca and the shamanic thing from a South American angle and a more toxic one that I endeavour. Then again my mental state (3rd gear, gemini) asks that I not tip my psyche any further over with such allies. Like Obelix I have had my share of the magick potion ;)

chimera

funny you mention this as i had coins and notes appearing in my dream the other night. the money seemed to take on a real appearance amidst dream. i would like to be drawing this cash from the dreaming into my reality at the present. which brings me to RAW's first exercise of drawing the coin to oneself. I did this with great success a couple of summers ago.

So if i am now working in dream and pulling that money that is a good thing... though the multi bet i put on tonight failed on the first leg. so if my dream world is rich how can i pull some of that wealth through to my waking reality...

what chimera appears from my dreaming in the real world? what unreal is given form in my waking world and how will i see it and my capacity to convert it to dollars so i may start working through some of the current issues. how can my current and rich dreaming affect my reality and assist me in shaping my real world? it is interesting to think that our dreaming and our concrete reality may be entwined to create strength for us....

and it is the chimera that is allowing us to create these bridges between the 2 worlds.....

so maybe we should study the chimera further yet

NEW POST !

I thought it would be best to post a post, as I have been meaning to for ages and i've had blogger block, and well not enough spare time.

I have been working on quirky, weird but cool behavior modifications to add some spice to reality. Its all about what I call focused behavioral magick - thinking about small or short behaviors that communicate a powerful statement in a quirky, or creative way.

The other is the concept of Chimera for a favorite reality concept of mine - changeling. This is making an entity from a dream appear in real life or vice versa.

"Sometimes creative thoughts and dreams take on solid form
or are deliberately shaped into objects, places or creatures. The
unreal given reality, these fanciful creations are called chimera.
Birthed by changelings or other beings touched by the Dreaming
during particularly intense moments, chimera may be either
animate or inanimate."

Obviously one magick is harder then the other - but i can't do it I wonder if their is a good system for trying this, but rather then a person or a place i'm starting small with a magick fork or spoon. --- okay i've watch inception, but how cool is this idea.

connection

i gave somebody with a yoga background a copy of Angel Tech. they read it through and were very engaged by it. we have only had the briefest of discussions about the book and i wonder if i should practice hathar yoga with the person to get a mutual understanding.
\
they seem to have felt comfortable with the content and associated their yoga with Angel Tech. i don't really associate angel tech to my kung fu. I guess I associate my astrology to it in part and 2nd grade is a gear I run quite well - my old Accord was such a beast through 2nd...

I would like to try and understand this text better through someone else who has absorbed it to some extent

basics again

sorta going back to basics again if only for my sake. am i going toward something of nourishment like the mother or am i fleeing a danger (like the mother in modern applications :)?

its those first 2 systems whether we deal through RAW or Angel Tech. The first is the Freudian mother complex and the second the father complex. The third of course is the conceptual, the map making, or the time altering. These first 2 are so crucial as to our relationship with ourselves; that is how we mother and nurture ourselves and then our relationships with the world around us, with the wider community.

I tend to think of who i was in the neighbourhood growing up and how much that person is a part of my identity. In astrology it is the 3rd House. the neighourhood. Mine is ruled by Leo, by the sun. The style in which i approach my community is as king, leader. I have that precocious little boy who doesn't acknowledge rightful authority, he is the little boy i approach the world as. That is 2nd system.... How do i shit on the world? How do I leave my mark? Tying it in with the astrological model, it seems i think my shit don't stink. It is my right as ruler to shit around the community, the neighbourhood, the school yard, the class room. All these places are 3rd house.

I excel in my place of learning. Leo children are good learners. The 2nd system for me is one i was imprinted by my father and my father is a very strong dour, stoic, solid man. And very much a man i was imprinted by. Not someone with a dominant boyish side. A gemini sun he is, which is my first house... maybe rules my first system in how i mother and nurture myself. I am seeing that i was built to survive but that is how i see it as i am seeing me and i know how to make me work.

Leo and gemini in sextile tends to work and then I start seeing the map as i put the relationship up that the two archetypes share with one another. the map making or the time bending and that to some extent come in to the 3rd House on an astrological chart. Of course astrology is a high school thing in Angel Tech. I believe it is 7th grade.

Astrology is a great map making system and naturally occurs as an octive above the third gear or grade. That is map making or tool making. Containing and using time to make our constructs.

So if I go from nurturing myself, to how do i get on with the others, then i go to what am i building and how am i building or creating. Building is a more capricorn word and create a more leo word

direction

I like the direction our posts are taking. Looking at solid cultures like indiginous Australian, German (Saxon, Goths, Vandals), or as we go to Native American, Kahuna...

These sort of things fit in to the mapping part of the circuits, that is the 3rd circuit or grade. The magick systems of each fit into 5th-8th grades

I mustn't forget either that each circuit has thing occurring which either draw me in to safety or make me run away from it outward...That 1 st circuit or oral circuit suggests that wego forward with our mouths to taste something infront or we are repelled not wishing to join our mouths with that in our realm.

It will be interesting to see where we go with this now. I like the fact that the sigils and magickal aspects were mentioned and maybe chaos magick using the 8 circuit model is ready to take another step forward.

I think of a bit of this sort of stuff for the creation of wealth. I like collecting symbols and facets of the illusion. I find that Napoleon Hill describes the methodology for the creation of wealth very clearly in his book Think and Grow Rich and having the material resources to do our work is a very basic Tradition in the 12 step programs.

Shamanism across cultures.

Today I stopped to whatch a video in the NGV (National Gallery of Victoria) on an aboriginal artist who paints on bark. What I found most interesting is firstly he was speaking in a tribal tongue and secondly that the language when translated had words that were equivelent to supernatural and magic. This paiting on bark is very magical, in fact the artist can see supernatural movements and images - divination through his art work.

What a shame there is so little around about the hertitage and the magic of this culture. hmmmm....

Anyways my heritage is german and that has prompted my current studying of germanic runelore and magic. This is a very intriging subject perhaps most interesting is the psychology developed by the ancient vikings/northern europe cultures. They have what can be describe as a complete system for soul development and work. Germanic culture is very aggressive and battle oriented and it integrates and embraces the animalistic part of ourselves.

Im quite sure 8-C's can be contrast agaisnt this, im just trying to work out how exactly and some exercises to help one gain access to some of the soul/runelore's power (a mysterious sort of power almost zen like but with a dark side) . I think theres almost a book in it.....nonetheless I plan to write my first proper article around this subject and it will be coming soon. The next one might a translation of Aboriginal shamanism into the 8-c's as well, so many things to do and so little time.

A few thoughts

Have you ever taken a substance i.e. psychedelic compund not knowing what it was, or thinking it was something else, or it was impure. The outcome is mixed it can be good an amazing experince, or bad as in nightmare bad or worse debilitate you. If whatever you indgested has a negative effect how much do you then wish you knew exactly what it was you took so you could at least have a strategy to deal with it. Or conversely if you had a great time you want to know what this amazing substance you took did to enhance your reality in such a dazzling way.

This is the art of choas magick in a nutshell.

You take a bunch of beliefs and desires install then trigger them and wait around for an outcome. After the impolusion of your reality (usually best after firing half a dozen or so sigils) over the next few weeks, its at the end you try and remember or at least ascertain which belief/desire played out and led to the outcome you wanted or the outcomes your now stuck with.

Choas Magick is the art of art itself, the primodial cosmic milkshare blended with the ingredients of the universe ready to be tipped into a cup for next taste creation choas has to offer us. It is a methodology to create new desires in an artistic format (or any formate) that allows us have a direct real impact on the world and reality around us.

Alli likes ritual to explore the 8-circuit model. However the use of sigils representing the different circuits and a desire or belief held about each individual circuit can be cast as an 8 pronged - affirmation in terms of exploring the circuits through choas magick.

It is quick dirty and effective. And of course be careful of what you wish for because you will get it.

Mind you im sure ritual would be even more immersive and mind altering, leave that for another lifetime perhaps.

8 system model as a map

we can lay the 8 sytem model over the person and how they fill in the matrix or how their energy superimposes the model, is the unique map that we work off in that case. astrology charts follow the same conceptual principle. we are looking at energy, or a person, and we have an outlining model that we can fill in like a map of that person and energy.

my skill at reading the astrological chart is quite advanced. these charts are maps to me that i can meditate into or achieve some sort of trance where i get a 3 or 4 dimensional feel for the energy that i am reading.

my understanding of the 8 system model is not so great at this stage.

i believe shamans are people who may posess the ability to read these or such maps, and to work with the energy. of course some shamans are so advanced at shifting energy that they may no longer need to work off the map.

yes, i believe china is the worlds king of the castle now. america could even fall from superpower status and be another middle power. the current global financial crisis calls out for shamans who can play with chung kuel on wall st, and the casinos of the worlds major cities. shamans who can find gold, or interact with the ones and zeroes in the electronic banking systems, shamans who can create new works and industries for the impoverished.

we exist in a time where man needs inspiration like he were once again building the great pyramids. groups and collectives need to formed and tended to, nurtured, by the worlds shamans though some with the gift will be toxic and use the energy of others without the ethics that our current business systems have tried so hard to preserve. most say the current business system sought to underwrite our morals and our ethics, but i believe humanity tried to preserve the good within our business systems. the residue, the disease of moral decay, greed, temptation got along the map.... just a few stains at first and then the tapestry grew darker and more vile in its decay and corruption. humanity at first fooled by its own pride and our own short sightedness didn't see the beast get a subtle hold on our system, our means of growth.

we were corrupted. we had driven our shamans out of any new framework of understanding. the only shamans existed in an old world not much different from the new but in the minds of each side of the coin that gap was too much to cross. some shamans could travel between the worlds, for that is what the shaman does, but his effectiveness in stopping the decaying parasite living off the produce of good works was so weak. the darkness mocked life itself and soon enough man followed mocking himself and the creation sustaining him until we came to live off the shadows.

shamans are illuminating like faerie lights in the night. like shiny stars light years apart we are waking up within this dream and seeing that we are not alone in this cold night. we are many and we are heartened through identifying one another as kith and kin in feeling of yearning to recognise ourselves and one another.

Text 1

Robert Anton Wilson's Prometheus Rising starts this 8 system model with the thinker and the prover. For the purposes of the shaman - modern or otherwise - the shaman must always be thinking or dreaming. This process of validating one's own thinking (dream) is what makes the shaman the creator of self and the creator of realities or worlds.

Wilson has 2 chapters on the oral self and the anal self. The oral is equated to the mother instinct and self nurturing or finding substitutes. The anal is likened to the social or political instincts or how I would say or father teaches us how to nurture or cooperate with others.

Thinking and proving goes in the path or beside and on the path with both of these instincts. The shaman or all people to some degree should be able to attract to the oral zone or affect society with their shit according to their thoughts. Internal feelings and external reactions will affect the proving part of the process, allowing the shaman feedback whether their spells or rotes are working. Making the necessary adjustments is the Art or the science...

This is the basic means into how the shaman weaves magick and dreams a dream... I tell myself through the writing of this piece so I may get a better handle onto what I am thinking (dreaming) and consolidating for myself what my thinking is creating for me.

I like writing and externalising my shit in this way. It is a good feedback loop that has always worked for me. As a shaman I write and I weave small spells on my guitar.

Shapeshifting

One of the roles of the shaman is to shift energy and form. Shifting the shape of energy whether it be the energy comprising of people, objects, cultures, etc... is something that the shaman does from within. How each shaman does it is a matter of personal process, but working with energy and rerouting it in a way that affects material reality is what the shaman has always done.

We change the world through working with energy.

A popular conception of this idea has been the changing of the corporation through infiltrating its culture. Getting shamans inside corporations and changing the corporations culture or relationship to the outside world and market.... well that is how modern shamans may affect this society.

Shamans can serve mother earth but they can also work with manufactured energies. There are chemical shamans some of whom are toxic and others that may not be. Some shamans are more practical than others and may not give the conceptual framework behind the magick that they weave.

Others observe the weaving of the energies and get a better conceptual idea of their place in the world. Some wiccans will be shamans though not all shamans are wiccans. Shamans exist in all cultures just as energy exists in all cultures.

It is very difficult for a shaman in acctive addiction to function as a shaman though all shamans should get sick early in their development. This initial sickness or wound, the shaman initiates by healing themself from

Shamanism and Contrasting Ideologies

It dawned on my that both Alli and McKenna are modern Shaman's. I failed, of course to mention anything in regard to the orginal shamans, or the the way the role of the shaman has evolved into more functional ideologies. Alli and McKenna represent fringe culture and also a need to easternise the west or westernise the east. This is in part due to a need to equalise shamanism across cultures, or maybe some sort of egoic drive. Alli is happy to critise zen or indeed try and poke fun at its strange logic I can't work out why other then some sort of need to prove he has superior intelluct. McKenna wants a quick high, he disregards meditation for drugs. His point in logic rather humourous "I meditate and nothing really happens or it happens only for those who beileve... If you take mushrooms it happens regardless if you beileve it or not". However neroscience does proves a direct relationship between meditation and happiness in the brain and it also proves a direct relationship between Schizophrenia and mushrooms. Meditation never sent someone to th looney bin on its own.

In both cases shamans advocate an arguement for excess - in terms of activities and exploration of reality - they claim modern life is a smorges baord of ideas - try what works and throw out what doesnt.

Now I thought I should contrast this to toaism - which is the ancient shamanic practise of the chinese. It involves the principles of yin-yang. In fact yin-yang as dialectic principles can claim to map all of reality. I wont go in to it however it is a claim the toaist makes. They also put forward a strong case for simplisty. That is through discipline of the will and mind - one obtains a perfection in seeing reality for what is it. That one sees the unity of life the universe in all its maginificance. A cultivation of years of experince....yet our modern day shamans claim this can be achieve through one acid trip.

Maybe it can be - but toaism is older then christainty and underlies part of the thinking of the most powerful country now on this planet (China, i really dont think you can claim America is anymore). Whilst the 8 circuit model is damn cool - sometimes it needs to be put in its place as it is only a map. yin-yang is a a compass.

More Shamanism Paradigm Discussion

I've now read through Angel Tech for the second time. I'm realizing with that as well what I novice I am when it comes to interrupting these systems and actually applying them effectively. It’s funny though Alli is really does not advocate much drug use in fact he tends to opt for alternatives to. The book itself suggests that its techniques are for consciousness raising without the use of drugs.

This seems to run counter to much thought around the perception of what a shaman is. The notion of the vision quest or psychedelic experience is pretty much part of the shamans role in guiding individuals towards a enlightening experience that re-orientates their world view and starts them on a new path to truer wisdom or a greater attuning to the sole.

I recall in a lecture given by Terrence Mckenna who is probably the most famous modern shaman of today, (he died over 10 years ago now) he stated an almost elitist view that people who had psychedelic experience and part took in these substances where in fact speeding up evolution and superior to those that didn't. Although he died of brain cancer which he thought was from substance abuse, his doctors did not conclude a link to his substance use. I think Terrence although possibly the most eloquent speaker on the topic of psychedelics placed to much emphasis on their use and indeed even tried to argue consciousness evolved from their use.

I guess my point is these two individuals show quite differing definitions of shamanism in what they preach as their learning's and pathways to enlightenment.

Shamanism

Shamanism --- I felt some definition is appropriate -- to remind myself constantly about the importance of the guarding of ones soul and the souls of those around us. Society is becoming more and more soul less, I think now more then ever are we engaged in a day-to-day psycho-spiritual war and most of us aren't even aware of the playing field or the rules. Shamans represent the figure or individual that guides there tribe/people to salvation. There are many definitions of Soul as well. but essentially it is that part of us that is the metaphysical personality. To be in touch with and recognize our soul is to be in touch with are spiritual beings and gives us the ability to operate in the 8th circuit. Spiritual Intelligence.

Shamans represent the oldest profession ever recorded. Their profession is found in Paleolithic art, sculpture and funerary objects. It is also found deeply inscribed on our psyche as a species. For the shaman is the steward of the soul, the being who facilitates the journey from birth, through all of life’s transitions, and into death and beyond. This is a journey that defines our human status in the world. It is the stuff of myth and memory as the shaman journeys with us and beyond, unfolding the stories of lives and possibilities in the service of our realization and healing.

Shamanism is an anthropological term referencing a range of beliefs and practices regarding communication with the spiritual world. [2] A practitioner of shamanism is known as a shaman, pronounced /ˈʃɑːmən/, /ˈʃeɪmən/, (|ˈshämən; ˈshā-|) noun (pl. -man(s)).[3]

Shamanism encompasses the belief that shamans are intermediaries or messengers between the human world and the spirit worlds. Shamans are said to treat ailments/illness by mending the soul. Alleviating traumas affecting the soul/spirit restores the physical body of the individual to balance and wholeness. The shaman also enters supernatural realms or dimensions to obtain solutions to problems afflicting the community. Shamans may visit other worlds/dimensions to bring guidance to misguided souls, to separate evil spirits from human souls, or to ameliorate illnesses of the soul caused by foreign elements. The shaman operates primarily within the spiritual world, which in turn affects the human world. The restoration of balance results in the elimination of the ailment.

Nerville Durvey comments on this -

--"Clearly the scared aspects of life may be found and how to understand the intuitive, infinite and profoundly meaningful visionary moments which arise in all of us at different times. Yet our dominant western culture is hardly supportive in this regard. We are surround by an urban technology which has done its best to demystify the world. Stanley Hopper has written, appropriately, of the 'impoverishment of symbols' from which we have all been suffering and notes that in our consumer culture, mythological traditions have been so inverted that -

Ahura Mazda is known today as an electric light bulb, the spirit Mercury is the name of an automobile and Pegasus, splendid in the antique sky, though recognized almost everywhere today is recoginsed nevertheless in the diminished guise of the flying Red Horse - trademark for a gasoline.

In essence capitalism although it produces an array of fantastic products that seem to impress us. The pace, speed and volume of production leaves no space for mystery or myth - rather it sucks the soul out of what it produces in order to push forward continued innovation. No space is left for appreciation or understanding of culture. It is all illusion.

The Text

Got a copy of Prometheus Rising. Had read that first chapter before and have done the money experiment. I did this for nearly a year a few years back and was doing $50 notes. I found coins and notes every time I left the flat and a few of those findings were $50 notes. I could not help but attract money to me when I hit the streets so I know this stuff works.

This influx did come at some expense to myself. It drained me of a lot of energy each time I went out. On one occasion I got an inner 'feeling' to walk and I found $115 in a deal bag. The laws of attraction work only too well

The text itself is very easy reading and very enjoyable to read. I must work through it more and work in with Angel Tech a bit more.

My counsellor said to me the other day that she knows that the mind exists everywhere and not just in one's head. She said a lot of the concepts were not of her grain and she said that a lot of it is along her understandings. That was in Angel Tech. So far I like RAW. I am in strong agreement with what he seems to be about.

The attraction stuff is spot on and I am probably working with it quite strongly on a subconscious level for what women are currently in my life.

Danger signs

Am i in danger?

Danger according to my first system needs and threats? Second system? Third, or fourth??

Fear rises from the pit of my stomach up my truck and back... stores in the shoulders? down the legs? is it trying to get me to act?

Direct danger to the physical, the body, the temple of my experience... I must act. I must move or make an essential decision to preserve my living vehicle (the robots physical shell).

Danger to the emotional self... rejection from a love interest. rejection from someone in whom i trusted or hoped to trust. denial of access to someone who once protected me emotionally (death of an elder)...

Danger to my concept of self? Who am I and how do I see myself as being? What if others don't see me that way and what if others want to attack my view of myself or others' views of me?

Danger to my ability (right) to social mobility...? This UX is where your feelings in the hands etc... would be very useful. Should you be getting physical signals when you are in danger in any of these 4 systems of self, then you are operating on a highly attuned system much like the ninja should. Like an inbuilt alarm system...

Maybe you can set up wards external to your self so that when activated a signal comes back to your body warning you of an external danger on the move. The Japanese did apparantly have such an art... haragei. hara is the centre or the spirit and spiritually you would be able to detect danger to your self.

How does one work toward and develop this UX?

Energy Systems

I am now definitely certain of a direct relationship between sensations in the body being related to emotional states. I have been playing around with energy circulation techniques for ages, since a 6 month stint of full time tai chi - which barely scratched the surface of the possibility of what energy workings can do.

There is a book by taylor ellwood - inner alchemy which takes a modern approach and blends energy systems - which i must look at one day. I haven’t read it. Anways its definitely a mine field of random research and various gurus and experts proclaiming what works. So it is almost impossible to find a system that is proven scientifically.

Probably the most important practical things I have worked out are :

I have found that anxiety and fear is almost always represented by a build up of nasty feeling energy in the pit of the stomach. I have also found non-resistance to this energy and simply feeling the sensation by going into a trance like state almost always cures this issue. When I say trance like I mean just feel the sensation and go with it, don't try and assume your feeling or emotions to be caused by anything. Slowly the energy untwists like a tangled set of head phones or shoe laces. Suddenly you start to know why you felt those feelings and that they no longer really have such an intense effect. This is described in the Power of Now - Eckhart Tolle - highly recommend read but you need to filter out the pseudo spiritual jargon and sift out the technique.

Today I had another discovery - ANGER- the above technique does not help with anger or depressive states only fear and anxiety. Anger had been frustrating me because no matter what I seem to always click into passive aggressive mode about work and life. The same stuff like why do I have to go to work in the morning or people who just irritate me. Most of us have passive anger. What I finally worked out is that anger is stored in the hands and feet. Well this is for me anyways. I realise as well any depressive states I have are a result of storing to much anger. This is why my fist always clenches or curl my toes in frustration. I looked up hand chakras online and got this :

"The chakras in the palms of the hands are often (incorrectly IMHO) relegated to minor status. These chakras transmit healing energy and receive energetic information from the universe. The palm chakras are used to channel healing energies to yourself and others and to receive impressions of the energy of a room, person, situation, etc. Activation and awareness of These chakras makes a major difference in the quality of life. They can often be opened by intention. Practice in becoming aware of the energy of the palm chakras is a good place to start if you are at all interested in energy work and spiritual healing. or in any of the psychic arts. healing chakras may also activate in the fingertips and elsewhere in the body. The chakra in the palms of the hands are powerful sensors and channels for vibratory information and energy . many adhere to the convention that the left palm receives or senses energy and the right palm sends it out. My experience is that both hands will send and sense energy. you can improve and focus these functions by using intention and by allowing the input and out flow"

Well that does not back up my theory. However it may be that my anger was instead blocking the palm charka's and thus making me destructive rather then a healer which is my intention. Back to the discovery - I applied the same technique to my hands and feet as I did for the stomach knots for fear and bang my anger disappeared very very quickly.

It seems I may have cured my passive aggression. Mind you I think rather then remove my anger it makes me feel in control of it – it’s not gone just it doesn’t overwhelm me, and things will always irritate me it’s also not instant so if anaggressive rushis triggered then there is not enough time to kick in this technique. However I’m hoping it will stop me doing anything destructive. This I think is a serious break through. Normal therapy would be to find the issue of the anger but sometimes the cause will never go away, in just done to us does not get healed because we forgive people, that just lets us move forward, the emotion of anger remains (and it cannot be repressed). A job we hate cannot not always be changed, a relative or neighbour can always be a prick but if you can stop the hating feeling the you can start healing. So I am becoming more and more certain emotions and energy are very closely related and stored in the body. Cleansing this energy and increasing health will increase quality of internal life and thoughts I am certain....it is a more direct path to happiness then most I have tried.....must get back to training the tai chi.

BELIEF SYSTEMS

BELIEF SYSTEMS & THOUGHT PARADIGMS

Yep, these have gotta be thrown around and fleshed out and we can start building something from where we are all coming from. What is the belief system from which I best emerge or that best fits who I am?

I like the mythologies of the Vikings, the Celts, the Egyptians and many others. And where magick is concerned I like these cultural belief systems for characterisation and romantacism (both 5th house things in modern astrology).

I take it we are looking at an 8 'system' model (I prefer the term system to circuit). Angel Tech would start us with the PHYSICAL system or Grade 1 as Ali puts it.

Various belief systems are going to have a differing approach to Grade 1...

Supply Chain

I don't like losing copies of my magick tomes. Nothing like needing to cast a spell and finding that my spell book has been borrowed by someone who has had a permanant feeble mind or forget spell cast upon them [metaphorically speaking]

I have a few copies of Angel Tech spare at the moment. It is a very useful book. I will be chasing up Prometheus Rising in the next week. I may get several copies of that though Angel Tech is not in print anywhere around the world at the moment. According to Paul from Polyester I got the last 10 copies in store on the planet. So when I run out it will be 2nd hand bookstores. I will not be giving up my personal copy which I work from.

I have sent copies to friends in the US as it is not available there. The US has some sinister laws where publishing and freedom of information is concerned from what I remember.

Grade School

I tend to look at things from a grade school perspective. I have given about 10 copies of Angel Tech away now.... sometimes I can manage to refuse remuneration and do the "pay it forward" thing. The Universe gives me what I shall have. The first grade is about the physical and health is the main pattern. I have done some big work on this and I imagine I will be honouring my sacred temple until the day that I say thankyou for having been able to wear it.

I have about 4 copies of the text at the moment + 1 that my counsellor is having a peruse of. She should love it. Otherwise its back to the loony bin for me. The beautiful thing is no matter how long they have or will lock me up for I can never let thm in to at least one little thing in my mind for ever. Even when they did break my will I just went loony and then there was no use for me.

I am Coyote. I am higher than the stars. I am an ally worth having. I am an enemy hard to catch let alone out gun. I was once asked can I run and I simply must say, "Yes I can." I work on my robot like I work on my vehicle for they both get me round howsoever I may navigate.

Navigation is important to me, whether by the stars or the needle of a compass and map. We must be going somewhere but may the gods help us if we ever proclaim knowledge of our final destination. The journey is the destination. Progress and not perfection.

The technology of the light

A quick post BECAUSE i’ve neglected this space. I have now a copy of Angel Tech a newer analysis of the 8 - circuit model. Although read awhile ago it is great to actually own a copy and spend some time working through the activities which are a much expanded version of ones in RAW Prometheus rising.

The first thing Alli challenges us with - is our definition of intelligence. Mine is "the ability to SUCCESSFULLY manipulate the reality both internal and externally to create a moment by moment living experience that is filled by the greatest possible amount of healthy positive emotion".

So that is probably more on the mystical side. The magician might say "the ability to SUCCESSFULLY control reality both internally and externally in accordance with their will"

The scientist - "the ability to prove and repeat the SUCCESSFUL creation of aspects of reality externally. So that increases quality of life for myself and others"

I would say the first is a far happier experience of life. However science the most sustainable, with Magick the most self absorbed yet seemingly exciting or having the greatest capacity for imaginative states.

So three states of successful use of intelligence. BUT is that really describing what intelligence is ?
My explanation is – off the top of my head - Intelligence is a measurement of the minds capability to achieve the above statements within our lives.

Given that I also postulate that development needs to occur in these three areas to develop a supreme intelligence that has greater control over the fundamentals of reality/life construction.

The Analysis

8 circuit model - This is what the Robert Anton Wilson book Prometheus Rising delves into. Now it’s a weird model and it’s certainly not a mainstream but it has been around since the 60's and is born from the mind of Timothy Leary. Who admittedly was locked in jail for possession of a couples joints of Marijuana? He was a Harvard psychology professor at the time, gone a little wild.

A lot of strange and innovative ideas were spawned from his work. However he advocated the use of certain illicit drugs which make some of his work more creative fiction then research fact. Which is why I like using it in my blog as a model because it’s more fun and also has an opposite bias then mainstream psychology? That is its pro-hedonistic pursuit. He argued for a society of more leisure and pleasure time, a hedonic society. Well I think there is some value in his ideas; however there are no doubt the hippy communes and utopian dreams that his thinking provided grounding for did not really work out so well. Mainly because all it took was a psychopathic individual to take advantage of these communities based on trust and freedom. Other reasons as well like the need to do hard work to achieve anything...
Nonetheless the 8 circuit model covers all aspect of consciousness. Why is consciousness so important in personnel development? Because conscious defines us. Consciousness is what is interacting with other people. To be conscious is parallel with alertness and awakeness. The more alert or awake we are the more connected we are to what is happening around us. Expanded consciousness is expanded awareness of reality around us. A greater consciousness means more opportunities in every moment to live and experience life. The exact definition is:

"The state of being conscious; awareness of one's own existence, sensations, thoughts, surroundings"

If I ever had time to do research it would be around measuring the level of consciousness within people and understanding their moment to moment experience of life.

So naturally if you subscribe to this notion. You may attribute a more fulfilling life to having a greater and more aware consciousness of reality. Well if that’s the case we can go and take lots of drugs. So that’s what Leary and his followers did. Indeed it provided access into newer realities and innovation. Hell you have the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix - through to Bill Gates and Steve Jobs (though it’s denied now). This is not me trying to advocate illicit drugs, because I believe in purity of mind to gain consciousness expansion. (I.e. as little artificial substances as possible to alter consciousness) so yes I would legalise marijuana but never smoke it. However I’m pointing out that they were used to expand consciousness in some individuals and it had a definite result in the result of their world or reality - likewise consciousness expansion can take a person to more unwelcome darker realms of experience in reality - Paranoia and skitzoprehnia.

One day I want to get into some the ideas around Flow - (Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi) and optimal thinking states - it’s hard for me to test these because I’m not close to being a genius like Tim and Mihaly. Suffice to say - paranoia & fear - mind consciousness are not close to effect states of mind for doing anything much. Yet I know a clam mind is infinitely more efficient and effect for getting anything done.

Psychopathy links into the 2. Circuit of the model - The Emotional-Territorial or Freud's Ego.

Freud used the word ego to mean a sense of self, but later revised it to mean a set of psychic functions such as judgment, tolerance, reality-testing, control, planning, defence, synthesis of information, intellectual functioning, and memory

---- Again discussing why ego can get in the way of things is very important - yet being western and having a sense of self is very important or is it?

Psychopathy has an extreme ego distortion associated with it - they see themselves as gods or something of an extreme nature. However this for most part is delusional. The delusion is so badly out of kilter to reality that they forcible proceed use their will to break down reality in others and put their stamp reality into minds of others. But it is the method that they use to do this...that is to abuse and use other people in a callous relationship of victimisation.

Sometimes success is achieved and instead of being psychopathic the individual is then recognised as the ego they so badly want to be. This is actually what Magick is about, achieving god like status. However one need not be psychopathic to achieve their idealised self.

It is hard to know when one starts down such a dark path. I think a good thing to do at the end of each day is sit and mediate on what people one has helped or hurt during the course of that day and ask forgiveness as is standard practise.

The psycho path

Well I haven't really determine a writing method other than to dump out some thoughts randomly that correlate to the overall topic at hand.

I have just read most of Snakes in Suits a pop organisational psych book. Which I saw on the shelf of a colleague’s cubicle. Beware the dark side .... Some may choose the path of the psycho. I did expect something more akin to American psycho but instead I read what could only be construed as standard operating procedure for a majority of managers in most organisations

...delving deeper into pop-psych power books

Okay I'm not a fan of negative organisational vibes, manipulation and fear management con artistry but it has its place. I read the 48 laws of power once, again very interesting. There is also a series about the ninja and mind manipulation techniques that can be found in the martial arts sections of book stores (I’m sure there’s many others too) It’s a choice to achieve want you want via a darker path. Power is fascinating, I find it hard to relate to people who really crave power, Ive never quite felt that way. So I have to think about it further, the idea of being more then human or a god certainly conjures up an image of an individual who wields great power.

I did get victimised by a psychopath once. Not a manipulative power hungry boss either. A full blown crazy psycho nut case (although very smooth and charming on first apperance). He took about $7K off me, and fleece over $150k off friends and relatives I know. I cut all connections but the last I heard was they still hadn’t dragged him into court.

It also makes me wonder if psychopaths are in fact dark gods, and evolutionary step above the average man, able to outsmart all of the systems in place designed to stop them because they just do not think like a sane moral conscious person. I mean if you fully believed in evolution then you can see the scientific merit in such an analysis. Entities/life eventually adpat and move beyond their environments and systems. If it is more effective to be psychopathic in todays corporate environment then logically more people will become psychopathic to adapt and survive. Well maybe ?

I don’t agree however that it’s just the way they are born, I believe it occurs because of twisted logic and a desire for more and more to feed the Ego of the individual. Rather than the satisfaction derived from accomplishments that give real self-esteem. Are psychopaths non-feeling or are they just connected to very very deep negative emotions, with no outlet or understanding of how to create positive emotion in themselves. In fact dare I venture forth that the modern psychopath is in fact an individual that believes the marketing around them and constantly search for happiness in all the wrong places, i.e. cars, clothes etc etc. I mean im not trying to say its bad to enjoy these things - but a BMW does not make up for years of child abuse.

I suppose these books help make us aware of what evil is around. They also present a choice for us about what we want ourselves to be, in a world saturated by marketing and greed it is hard not to have your buttons pushed by many factors not just psychopaths.

On a quest for self realisation, living up to your full potential it is important to be conscientious of the how. In fact the how maybe the most important part of the equation ......because before you know it you may well be consumed by the dark side in order to make dreams come true.
